So when I first decided to read this book I thought for sure it was going to another Cinderella remake. I was glad to find out that it wasn't. I think this is one of my fave books and I can't wait to read more from Teresa.I found this book to be very refreshing in that the characters for me seemed very original. And whats even better this book is hilarious. The best part was the war between Bannor and the kids, the way he planned it you would think that he was going against the king himself. I liked that she included the kids in the story not just as an after thought. As the story goes on the characters grow and I started to feel for them. The only thing I could find wrong with this Book was that I feel like it wasn't finished maybe its just me not wanting the book to end. I felt like she felt had a certain amount she had to write couldn't write more so she rushed the ending. But other than that I recongment this to everyone
